Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) is a brain injury caused by prenatal alcohol exposure. It is one of the most prevalent neurodevelopmental disorders, and there is a growing need for caregivers to gain new knowledge and practical skills for supporting children, adults, and families living with FASD.

This webinar introduces you to the six pathways for success when supporting individuals living with FASD. You will briefly explore what FASD is, its history, and the brain differences, and identify areas where people living with FASD can foster self-awareness and success. Additionally, you will learn a few cues and clues to look for and recognize within the six pathways for effective support: Promoting Strengths, FASD Self-Awareness and Acceptance, Sensory Regulation, Adaptation Strategies, Healthy Relationships, and Team-Based Support.
