David has over two decades of experience in the helping profession. He has held a variety of roles, including working in frontline and supervisory positions in Children’s Services group homes and youth addictions programs. He has also spent the last decade in private practice as a Registered Psychologist where he works with themes around addictions, emotion management, conflict management, co-parenting, and relationships. In addition to his private practice, David continues to consult with child protection staff on a variety of topics and assists with treatment planning.

David believes in the importance of developing emotion and conflict management skills to support both professional and personal relationships. He seeks to do this through a mix of humour, real life examples, and sound theoretical principles.
