Trainers and Consultants

Andrea is a behavioural health leader, clinician, educator, and national trainer with more than 20 years of experience in clinical practice, trauma-informed care, and workforce development. From 2004 to 2025, her clinical work focused on serving at-risk youth and their families, providing therapeutic support and helping them navigate complex behavioural health, trauma, and life challenges. This experience continues to shape her approach to professional education and leadership. 

As a national trainer and presenter, Andrea develops and delivers engaging, evidence-based education for behavioural health professionals, social workers, foster and adoptive parents, and community partners. She has led trauma-informed initiatives, designed continuing education programs, and strengthened provider competency across community-based, military, and Medicaid-funded settings. Her approach centres on translating research and clinical knowledge into practical strategies professionals can apply in real-world settings, equipping providers and caregivers with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to support children, adolescents, and families affected by trauma and complex behavioural health needs. 

Andrea is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology with a specialization in Trauma and Disaster Relief, further deepening her expertise in trauma-informed practice, resilience, and crisis response.
