Telisa has worked as a mental health clinician for over 20 years, supporting adults, children, youth, and families in achieving mental health and wellness. She currently practices privately providing therapy to individuals and families. She holds a Master of Social Work with a clinical specialization and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her areas of experience include adult mental health in inpatient settings; community-based child, adolescent, and family mental health; working with vulnerable populations in the inner city; and providing parent capacity building and group facilitation. Telisa has also offered mental health consultation, supported capacity building through delivering psycho-education presentations, and presented at various events.

Telisa is passionate about fostering healthy relationships, especially those we have with ourselves. She believes that a strong relationship with oneself is foundational to creating positive relationships with others. She is committed to supporting individuals in building healthy connections and engaging with their own lives and the lives of others in trauma-informed, compassionate ways.
