Paula is an enthusiastic educator, trainer and evaluation consultant. She has worked in clinical, school and community-based settings in the areas of mental health, disability and challenging behavior with individuals, families and teams of healthcare providers.

Paula regularly provides consultation with professionals and organizations on using a holistic approach to wellness that promotes person-directed planning and environmental accommodations. She also provides tailored training for organizations that support people with mental health disorders, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders and fetal alcohol spectrum disorders.

Paula believes it is essential for people to be supported to continue learning and developing their personal, play and work skills. As a consultant, she is collaborative and respectful, and she embraces diversity in personal identity, skills and cultural perspectives. She is a consummate educator and brings her knowledge of adult education and learning principles to everything she does.
