Attachment

1 day

About this Workshop

Healthy attachment relationships are important throughout life because they lead to increased resilience. Early attachment patterns influence how children grow to engage with others and form adult relationships. Our first relationships typically happen within the family, but children and youth also form attachment relationships with other significant people in their lives. This workshop will explore attachment theory, as well as common attachment dynamics for children and adults alike. Participants will practice applying principles and strategies for fostering connection with children, youth, and families.
