Scott has worked with children, families and communities in clinical, teaching and training contexts for over 20 years. In recent years he has particularly enjoyed his training work with Indigenous communities. Scott holds a Master of Education (Specialization in Counselling) and has undertaken extensive professional development, including in the areas of working with mental health, trauma, grief and helping people develop their preferred identities. In addition to training with CTRI, he maintains a private psychotherapy practice. Scott believes positive change happens when curiosity and desire for change sparks creative human interactions that unlock new opportunities. An engaging and interactive presenter, he likes to connect with workshop participants to help them envision possibilities for growth in their lives and their work, and to take steps to make those actually happen.
